UBM Tech's EE Times Expands its Community Footprint Internationally, Partners with Israeli-Based ChiPortal
Agreement Includes Content Sharing with EE Times and Licensing of DesignCon Brand

SAN FRANCISCO, April 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, UBM Tech, which connects the electronics engineering community with essential business and technical insight, announced it is expanding its international footprint into Israel by partnering with ChiPortal. As part of the agreement UBM Tech will create a content share between EE Times and ChiPortal and its companion magazine TapeOut as well as license the DesignCon brand to ASG, ChiPortal's parent company.
The agreement was announced yesterday evening during the ChipEx2014 Executive Summit, part of ChipEx 2014 conference, taking place at The Israel Trade Fairs & Convention Center in Tel Aviv, Israel.
