Sandhu and Tasha Ventimiglia, Event Manager, Labelexpo Americas, will discuss why managing data properly is critical to attracting an audience. They will outline how to build lists, how to develop actionable intelligence on hot button challenges and how to bring in a highly qualified audience to maximize ROI. Sandhu is responsible for the UBM Tech global audience engagement strategy for the media properties, commerce and community sites, and global events. Sandhu started his career as a Senior Software Developer with Cadence Design Systems Inc., where he worked on the development of the next generation PCB Design Entry tool, developing algorithms and GUI's, and developed an intelligent Language Sensitive Editor (LSE), which was used to edit design files written in Verilog or VHDL. Most recently Sandhu was a Project Throughput Manager in Semiconductor Insights' Engineering Group, where he collaborated with the senior management team to develop strategic plans regarding many facets of the business. Sandhu received a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Science and Engineering) from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. He also attended the University of Ottawa, Canada, while working with the Semiconductor Insights division, where he obtained his MBA. On Friday, June 21 at 11:30 a.m. Kapoor will participate in the "Online Registration: Refining the Process to Minimize Abandonment and Maximize Attendee Intelligence" session. Kapoor and Elena Grant, VP, Marketing, National Trade Productions, will discuss how an organization's registration system is the most important part of any marketing program. In addition, they will provide tips and ideas on registration as well as how to choose a registration software vendor. Kapoor is leading UBM Tech's marketing transformation toward a data-centric approach. He is moving the company towards actionable intelligence on customers, campaigns and clients.
