Enterprise Connect Orlando's Innovation Showcase to Highlight a New Breed of Team Collaboration Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO, March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise Connect Orlando, produced by UBM Tech, today announced the seven companies selected to participate in the esteemed Innovation Showcase. The program aims to expand thinking about enterprise unified communications and collaboration by hosting pioneering companies in a dedicated area on the Expo floor and presenting a series of live demonstrations. The 2015 Innovation Showcase celebrates collaboration, as all winners boast solutions that facilitate improved communications among formal and informal teams and groups. Enterprise Connect attendees may remember the Innovation Showcase from past years as the place to engage with startup companies, but the 2015 program widened its scope to include solutions that have not previously engaged the enterprise communications audience.

The companies selected to participate in the 2015 Innovation Showcase include:

• Altocloud: facilitates online collaboration with customers and prospects by enabling communications and screen sharing from a Web page
• Collaboration Squared: supports interoperability of video conferencing, Web collaboration, and phone conferencing on a cloud platform
• Double Robotics: enables a physical presence for remote participants
• Fuze: consolidates real-time audio, video and Web conferencing in unified online platform
• NextPlane: enables granular controls for federation and instant messaging across like or dissimilar UC solutions
• Phonami: offers automated CRM logging from non-enterprise phones
• Redbooth: provides task collaboration and secure real-time communications via cloud platform

Each applicant's solution was evaluated based on how it promotes or facilitates collaboration, with additional criteria around the solution's innovation, productivity, and user experience. All participants are first-time Enterprise Connect exhibitors.

All of this year's winners will be present on the Expo floor. Additionally, Fuze, Redbooth, Altocloud, and Double Robotics will present live demonstrations of their products and services in a special session on Monday, March 16, at 2:00 p.m.
